I recently bought an '08 Tahoe LT1. I'm assuming it doesn't have Premium sound because the speaker grills don't have any bose badging I've seen. I've installed a Pioneer 4100NEX. What would be the next steps you'd recommend for better sound output? I'm not interested in a significant install with significant effort installing amps, wiring, boxes etc, but I would like more natural sound than the stock system outputs without noticeable bass.
I'm considering dropping in a new set of speakers. Is it possible to update with a new set of component speakers, or are plug and play 2-way speaker with brackets going to be the simplest option?
