Longer overhead console

Has anyone ever put the longer overhead console in their Tahoe/Yukon? I can always use a couple more cubbies to stash things. I had one in my old 2000 Sierra. Does anyone know if the holes for it are there under the headliner? I don't want to just start cutting on things. Thanks.

Thanks for posting that. So, it appears that the slots are there for the back, but the outline might be smaller than the current roof console in the front. I probably wouldn't be happy with that. I'll have to think about it for a while.

From the video, it looks like all you would have to do is clean the front to take out the lines from the previous console and then you'd likely be happy with fit and finish.
