Just ordered a 2018 Navigator after having a total of 6 Denalis and Suburbans. The 8 speed trans has been a night mare for myself and many others

You realize Ford and GM have shared transmissions for at least two body-style generations now? It has been a joint venture by both.

Joint venture on the 10 speed, Ford does not offer the 8 speed and never has in the SUV line

Which trim Navigator did you get and what was the price? Are they offering discounts yet?

I haven’t seen one in person yet. They look decent, not nearly as good as a new Denali but ok, at least from the pictures.

I have seen a handful of each on the road the last few weeks but my local dealer has yet to receive an expedition. We are looking at trading our 15 xl in on either 18 denali or loaded expedition.

I'LL never make that mistake again.....UNLESS its some magical give me a BJ on the road built in kind of deal, lol

a gamble for sure but we have two 1st model year runs now and the jeep has been flawless (100k miles and 6yrs) while our 15 Yukon has been one big headache. I've always had this mindset but sometimes having a new model 12-15mos early is worth it.

That’s what all the reviews say as well, that the interior on the Navigator pretty much blow everything else away, mops up the competition including the Esky. I still want to see it in person to see for myself.

If you have to sit on the side of the road, you might as well do it in style!

$100k is for the top Black Label trim, where they come to your house to pick up your car and chauffeur you too and from service appointments. You can get mostly the same interior on the $80k version too. But yes, I don’t think there are any incentives yet.

On the flip side (of competition) GM is offering huge incentives now, because they know they finally have some competition, which is good in my opinion. Better to keep these companies competitive so that they can earn our business instead of being the only game in town!

I have been thinking about picking a Long wheelbase one in a couple year once they'll depreciate. Will be interesting to see how they do!
They are by far the nicest interior. exterior styling is subjective but I think they did a great job too. Especially in some charcoal or off white color.
share pics once received!
