The dreaded knox sensor debacle. You can purchase all original gm parts, put everything new, and then whamo two weeks later lights back on. This is a horrible design. Another reason for litegation. But I have the fix.
Take the knox sensor out of under the intake. Mount one on the passenger side cyclinder head. The other half way down on the drivers side head above the spark plug. There are threaded hgles there already.
It does not matter weather you but expensive parts or cheapos from ebay. Get new sensor and wires do this and you are done with the dreade gm knox sensor problem. Haver a nice day!
