Thanks for the info I'll get on that. What do u guys think about the rocker moving after being rotated by hand. Is that an intermittent thing? Vlom issue? Why does turning it by hand first get it going when the engine is started

I personally have no clue except that it needs to be disassembled to inspect. At least the push rod and then go from there. Like I said earlier, since it came back and started to move I suspect that it is a lifter problem because that relies on hydraulic pressure. That can come and go. If you had a push rod, rocker, rocker stud/nut, cam lobe problem, that is mechanical and I have not seen those parts ever fix themselves.
