Joined an 88-98 GM/Chevy Facebook group and have seen a lot of this "bulldogging" on on there.

What gives?

The most popular is a 20" wheel, 35" tire and 6" front only lift.
How in the stink does the alignment shop get the castor setup up right?
Most likely have problems with camber too.

This is all I could find ATM, some are dang nice trucks that would be sweet if they didn't forget to put the rear lift on!

they are in my home state as well AKA Carolina Squat, There is a host of issues with this so called... Fad? Not only is it a safety hazard for numerous reasons but it wears out the front ends out stupid fast . I honestly don't see the point or function but I won't bash them to each there own I guess and I agree most of the trucks Would look awesome lifted all the way.

Looks like a cross between some EXTREME cali lean and Cencal look

It reminds me of mini trucks that have pneumatic or air ride suspension, I usually see them cruising parking lots with the front end up in the air.

I also remember an out break of this in Highschool in my home town.
One guy raised his torsions all the way up on a Z71 with stock suspension, then after the following weekend just about every 4wd obs in the parking lot had raised front ends.

Like I say some look good as is, but if you pay for a suspension lift, why not utilize the whole kit? Would really make them look good.
But that is IMO.
Like Donnie Yukonie stated: to each his own.
I just don't grasp the concept.

Imo i think a little squat looks tough. Not too much though.. some of them guys take it too far. Check out squattin ******* facebook. Some nice looking trucks on there.

When i was in Myrtle.. that was all I saw. Maxxed torsion bars and rear lowering blocks.

There's quite a few Prerunner style trucks out here in the desert that look similar with more lift in the front than the rear. By similar I mean less ridiculous than the ones pictured above.

Haha.... but you have the nice "pssss" sound to do it

Not my thing to have something like that all the time. But I did love to ride with the back slammed with I had my s10 on bags.

In all honesty I am cool with it. Its car culture. We of all people should be understanding of it.

I mean a "normal" middle age person who drives a faggy Toyota Camry would not understand a Tahoe on air with 24s or a suburban with 22s dropped and no family. Just saying.

Yep I have spotted trucks and SUV's with the rear dragging several times over the years, both four-wheel drives and lowered street trucks alike.
And vice versa with hot rods, rat rods... Even some bone stock trucks come with an overly raised rear end.

Just like the Fella's at my local high school. Couldn't afford lifts so they had raised front ends with stock rears.
They were always talking about 3" lift blocks but autozone didn't have the cheap kits with squared u-bolts.
It just didn't take off back then like it has now.

Personally have never seen a 6" front, stock rear yet.

Mine has auto trac 4wd so can't really do a full lift atm pocket wise...
Wasn't considering doin it to mine bc of front suspension/steering & tire replacement costs but...

Totally thought over the guy on a budget wanting to do this: body lift, leveling keys at stock adjustment on torsions and rear lowering shackles would get about 5" front lift -close to stock rear.
