Just got my G4 tails

Just got these in the mail today...

I know a lot of TYF'ers have installed these so...

(1) Any suggestions or helpful hints for before or during the install? I believe I read somewhere that someone recommended applying silicone to the light for extra resistance to leaks

(2) these are not LED bulbs correct? Came with. I'm assuming either the originals in the g4's or so I can change out the LED bulbs, currently in the tails, if they blow?

I am real happy with my G4s, they really are a nice change to the stockers.

The LEDs will blow lol.
LEDs aren't good at illuminating things they are more for looks once they get in a reflector.
