First rod and piston i separated, i sorta gouged the bushing in the rod

Thinking i was fkd on that rod, i did some searching and found the bushings are available...

any experience having bushings installed?
I was sorta thinking i might as well have all 8 freshened up while i was at it.

So i decided i wanted to put a coat of engine primer on my new 6.0
then i saw the instructions said "within 10min next coats"
then "within 10min apply color coat"
then "Within 10min apply clear coat"
then "all coats within 1 hr"

Me: ffffffffff

Painted, and mostly cured now..
I think it will look much better once assembled.

Have you figured out what went wrong with the other motor yet?

Only thing that even looked off were the cam bearings.
crap shoot there, i'm probably going to do an oil analysis assuming there is enough left in the oil filter.

In the back of my head, i remember this one time i had a crazy neighbor put sand in my fluids when i happened to take my vette in for an alignment.
:yaoface2:

the hoe has not been anywhere.
+ it's not sand.

that said, i might use some safety wire to secure my oil filter, and oil fill cap in the future.
:win:

and i'm going with cam bearings for now...
