Is Moog the only way to go for front end replacement?

From what I've read in other posts either the moog pitman or idler arm dont work for ours or something like that? Someone please chime in, im looking to replace them,I think it has something to do with the fitment.

Rare parts make some really high quality stuff. I'm using their tierods, pitman arm, idler arm bracket, along with a moog idler arm and cognito support brackets. Rare parts re-engineers their gm steering parts to fix its faults. My steering feels great without a steering stabilizer but my gearbox is getting worn so I still have some play.

The only way to know is to crawl under and count yourself. There's no rhyme or reason as to which trucks GM assigned the 3 or 4 splines to. I believe my truck has a 3 spline and that was more common of the two.

You'll need a pickle fork, an air-hammer attachment would help, and a pitman arm puller.

Air hammer attachment?

Instead of whacking the pickle fork with a hammer, the shaft connects to an air hammer to break the joints loose. The pickle fork set I bought came with both shafts and they thread into the end so I can switch them out easily. It was much needed when I worked on my trucks steering rack.
