Hey guys I am new on here. Finally pulled the trigger and bought my first car. Used 2010 Tahoe LT. I bought a Pioneer Nav system at best buy and need to get it installed but they said it would be $312. It seemed a little to steep so I am looking into doing it myself. They said I would need to purchase a harness and something else which is why it costs 312. Have any of you guys done it yourself or know of a cheaper alternative???? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You'll need:

Axxess GMOS-LAN-012 $130 = radio harness
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005F4ISJQ/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00

Axxess ASWC $43 = steering wheel controls

Metra 95-3305 $10 = Dash Kit
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K52CWO/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00

So that's gonna run $200 itself. So $100 in labor to install it. If your COMPLETELY comfortable installing it, you can save yourself $100. If not, I suggest paying someone to do it.
