they want be to loud they will be balanced with the door 6.5.

i will send upper mid & high freq to them and i did play around

with the angles for the pods. just doing it to be different and i will

do the kicks maby. i no one thing i better have something

to show why i been in the shed long nighters to the wife. There almost complete just got to color match them and get small

If you really want the system to sound it's best with midrange drivers in the a-pillar, a time alignment processor will make a huge difference. One speaker is a couple feet from you while the other is about five feet or so, throwing off the acoustical arrival time of each driver. A TA processor will delay the signal by a few mS from the farthest driver, re-aligning the signal and creating a more accurate reproduction of the input signal.
Kick panel placement helps with TA since the difference in distance of each speaker in relation to the listening position is less.
Anyway, how are they coming along? I think I'd paint or wrap them to match the interior, unless you have other trim pieces inside painted to match the exterior also.

I'd say match it with the interior. my pods in the rear are painted to match the truck cuz my sub box was too. now with it being the only thing matching the exterior it kinda bugs me. what speakers you plannin on runnin?

here are the picks and these are clarion spkrs i had laying

around. there has to be a better texture paint to use it didn't

come to good. that grab handle in the way couldn't put it same level as driver side i think it came out fine for a first

timer.

i will be getting some new 3.5 later

idk, it bothers me that they dont sit even. i prolly woulda molded them more into the corners than in the middle like that. still, not bad for a first attempt. you can always find pillars at a junk yard and try again if you want.

it couldn't be helped 2 reasons the way the dash is made and

the grab handle but one thing the dash on 96 to 99 that grab

will have to come off. then to over come that both are angled

different . actually i did get two more of them at the yard $5.00.

Doing it again but they are smaller and more inline with

pillard like them pillard gauges but still low in the corners.

the main problem i have is a way to cover the 3.5 sinse they

come with grilles.

they are a little destracting or more of a blind spot :some thing to get used to .
