You can make a small frame with 1/4" mdf and use speaker grille cloth. The cloth is available in different colors and can be made blend right in and flow with the new pods.

As you can tell i'm just winging it and it was not planed

i just dicided to do it. i did use the pillards i got out the junk

yard instead of mine. i think i will get more of them to practice

more paid 3.00 for both.

but i will have to save some $$$ to get the right material
fiberglass risin,RAGEGOLD,die grinder, patience, tool to make rings

then get good at it and sell.

good luck with it. i love seein people make pods in these trucks. i'm pretty sure everyones seen mine by now.
all i can say is make sure you measure it all out. the pillars seem to be on there with very little breathing room. I have three wires running up mine and it already hates me. lol

not knocking this idea, but won't 3.5" scream at you on the pillars? why not use your skills and money to make custom kick panels instead? Just throwing it out there.
