The EGR is built into the intake manifold not the exhaust manifolds/headers..

What loose nut??

Did those long tubes come down below the frame at all?
I want long tubes, but I just had my exhaust ran a few months ago, so I'm thinking about getting shorties to keep from having to go back to the exhaust shop....
They look awesome, by the way...

Actually these long tubes are the only way to go slammed or really low, the old stock ypipe was way beneath the frame and was the weakest link if hitting a pothole. But these LTs sit above the tranny cross member and will never be seen or touch the ground. :Handshake:

thanks man!

Im sorry Im new here and a newb but what is the difference between a TBI and the vortec engine? I have a 96 2 Door 4x4... which one do I have? And I get 13ish mpg in my hoe. But then again sometimes I like to hear my flowmasters and the gas gauge shows it. Haha

TbI motors are from 88 to 95
Vortec are from 96 and up.. You would have the vortec then.

Vortecs get better gas mileage in most cases. They have different heads, intake, OBD2, etc etc..

Just finished the install on mine wasnt to bad. Thanks to Hapyspaz and his mechanical mind we got them on in around four hours. Biggest pain was adjusting motor mounts to give passenger side the clearance it needed.
First pic is Hapyspaz and my two year old doing a quality check! More pics tomorrow getting it welded up the rest of the way.

Mine hit on the passenger side. I called pacesetter said to check motor mount alignment mine were off by an inch or so. After adjusting slid in with about a quarter inch of gap. As far as performance to soon to tell had to run open home last night and this am to exhaust shop. It was just damn loud my ears are still ringing!

Yea the black frame will look wayy better than the rust colored frame now!

And Im also interested in how much power you gain from the headers. Let us know man!
