So I'm back to debating headlights. Anyone who has had retrofitted headlights, what's your opinion on them?

For +/- $1000 they'd better be worth it lol.

I did mine myself.... as you know.

However for a Grand..... Not sure if they worth it "that much" JMHO

I don't want to have no headlights for two weeks since this is my only vehicle now.

One of the sites I listed was at around 650 shipped with new aftermarket oem replicas, cleared as well.

I would easily spend 600-700 for rerros...... a grand 3 years ago was.... well fine.

Now its too much IMO... too much competition out there now to spend that much on a basic set.

So I went out and looked at my roof rack, definitely not what is on a regular hoe.

There are no cross bars and only seem to be one screw at each end.. Wtf is on my roof? Lol

Wow this is weird, was looking at an escalade rack on eBay, and a 'similar item' was this:

Looks the same as mine.. It is a perrycraft 65" side rail. I'm pretty sure mine is the same but black. Mystery solved?

and getting my mechanic to angle it back similar to the regular slp res delete.

I'm looking to get a different muffler installed on the tahoe. Need a bit of help deciding though.

I loved the sound of the magnaflow 12589 on my 5.3 Yukon, anyone know what would be the closest equivalent for the 6.0? I feel like using the same one would be loud.

I read that 12909 is good for the 6.2, but I am pretty sure my exhaust is 3" diam

...and what do you mean "6.0 is a drone monster", lee? drone is largely controlled by the muffler and how it's setup. Not the engine that's shooting exhaust through it.

I know I'm talking to myself but it is almost like someone else's opinion when I read my own out loud.. I think I'm crazy? Lol.

If it is too loud I'll just sell it and try something else I guess. I'm brining the truck home after this semester, where our fastest speed limit is 50kmph and no highways or roads out. So drone isn't a huge issue.
