HU install Help

Well I got a new dash kit and went to reinstall my HU, my last kit extended out so the back of the HU would have room to fit. The new kit is not extended it fits flush so I was wondering how to remove the metal support bar that is in the back so I can properly fit it.

I drilled out the 2 rivets and removed the nuts under the HVAC the only part I can't get is the very top rivet that you have to get to from behind. Can I do this without removing the top of my dash? Please help!

It's this one from amazon. I had the scosche wood trim one which fit perfect. The reason I got this new one was because I lost the trim plate that goes around my HU and this one will hide the metal tabs of the HU sleeve.

The new one locks in place perfect but I need about a 1/4 more room in the back.
