Trying to put the kids’ carseats in our 2022 Yukon. I watched a video online and discovered the trick to moving the little clip that lets the headrest move up. Problem is the passenger most side “leg” seems anchored in the seat now that the headrest is up about 4”. It can go back down but won’t go up past this point. Driver’s side leg on this seat seems like it might still pull up more.

Anyone done this?

normally you push the padding down around where the headreast pins/legs go into the seat back and you will see a pinhole or pinholes (one on each side) that is where you would insert a paper clip to push the pin in to release the "legs" and lift the headrest out.

No but kinda never had to. Got my kid’s seat adjusted well enough it didn’t matter.

Couldn't find an answer to this on this forum but thought I'd share this YouTube video:
. To remove the headrests in the second row (not sure if 3rd row is the same?), you have to open the back of the seat because there is a cable connected to the headrest. You have to unclip the cable to get the headrests to come out. What a pain!

I ended up having to figure it out last year. Found a video where the guy showed it and figured it out myself.
