Open your hood and on both sides there rubber stops on threaded posts. If that isn't the problem I don't know what else you could do.

Going to buy new hood hinge springs to see if that'll put more down pressure on it. I read springs may loose tension when you replace hood. I'll let you know what happens.

Stupid question but how do you adjust these rubber stoppers? Mine will not move at all by hand

I just had the HD hood swapped today and it didn’t line up correctly but also my oem hood was not lined up correctly either. Actually the HD hood is not as bad as a gap

I’m trying to figure out if it’s a hinge problem, bracket problem or hopefully just the hood rubber bumper stopper problem. Did not play too much with it but the one side I tried today would not budge by hand.

If you look at the pic. The hood is sitting lower on the passanger headlight. I’m hoping or thinking just rasing that rubber stopper would fix it.

What pic?
Sorry I was trying to delete my post. I tried the passenger side rubber stopper this morning and it adjusts fine but drivers side goes up but does not go down past a certain point

Anyways I don’t think the rubber stoppers are the issue anymore after adjusting them, there is still a gap on the drivers side

Maybe the hinges ir the mounting plate that is attached to the hinge?
