To basically have a stealthbox looking box built but with one deep 10" or 12" woofer on both the left and right side?

So it would go up in the window area? Do you have a pic of it installed in someone's ride? :)

I've seen it on here before I think but couldn't find it. Yes it would be installed in the window area so I wouldn't have to compromise the tiny space behind the third row and its pretty cool:mexsmoke:
Edit: Found some

That is interesting. :waytogo: Would definitely make sure your tint is super dark back there so no one can see it.

Thanks! And you can't see in the back windows anyways so I'm good on that one thanks for looking out though

:hmm: Covering those enclosures in suede or vinyl would look really nice. Looks pretty clean :High 5: I know that jdpber has installed some "stealth" systems and he may have some good info too along with NathanJax. I like the idea myself :)

If it was mine I'd wire in a switch that'd turn the sub off in the case you have someone sitting in the back seat as to not deafen them :happy175:

Haha that'd be hilarious! But your right I'm getting the alpine mrp-500 amps so I'll definitley wire a bass knob in for both and have a custom spot for the bass knob that I could make with a dremel or something it's going to be real real nice when everythings done. I wanna do 1 10" in each window and mount the amp in there as well so everything is flush.

Also good thing is that we never have more than just me and my mom in there and the truck has barely moved this summer I think we out maybe 80 miles on it since april. But when I get I'm definitley not trying to have that many people there 4 people at most.

lol... somehow I completely missed this thread...

will read now... brb

For both sides with one 10" and amp built in, you'd probably be anywhere from $600 to $1,000. Your talking about a bunch of man hours to do each side. fiberglass sanding, bondo, etc. that's not including wiring or the equipment. That's a full blown 100% custom job.

your actually only talking about $100 or so in material, it's just time consuming...
