I do have a little shimmy above 70-75. Nothing Crazy but I do want to address the suspension soon. Its getting a bit worn out and I want to lift it just slightly to even it out.Cool to see another local guy on this forum! Im in the Clarkston Area, looks like you visit the Sterling Heights yards, I am more of a U-Pull Pontiac but I too snagged a set of Hybrid Tahoe tails and D-Pillars, not sure what to do with them still.
Truck is looking good! Those flares turned out great. All the mods you did are very tasteful and OEM. Love it.
Looking at your suspension you will need some upper control arms, those things are shot, bushings wear out and then the ball joint is usually shot causing clunks. Not only that but when the upper moves forward and backwards when moving it causes the knuckles to move around and then alignment gets all out of wack. The arms are not expensive and if the bolts come out its a quick swap. If they get ugly, then pull the hack saw out and start cutting.
I had some silly annoying vibrations in the front end and it turned out to be the UCAs. A negative camber on the front wheel is usually a worn UCA ball joint.
Looking good!View attachment 478702View attachment 478701
Finally was warm enough to get the Denali roof rack on.
Also swapped over to its 4th set of taillights. Stock Tahoes with Lasfit LeDs. Load resistors on bottom for turns.
