Very cool, and DAMN are they bright. I really want to do that and put them on a switch so i can use them for hooking up a trailer or other task behind me.

I figured HID's wouldn't be good in a reverse install since they wouldnt fully heat up by the time you put it in drive.

Takes literely 2 seconds to warm up, not too much of an issue even if you do have to pause for a second before you start moving

Is your factory bulb "3157"? If so did the H11 fit perfectly.


I believe that is the factory size. The H11 doesnt fit "perfectly" in the space you just line it up as best you can then silicone it in place preventing condensation.

sits flush with a small gap around the lip but some black rtv around it and it seals up nicely. I've had mine for about 6 months now with no issues and I love it! They are so friggin bright, makes it easy to find at night!

i have led upgrade and hid reverse, every time i hit the brake its purpleish back there lol.
