HID fog light issue?

I tried installing my HID fogs yesterday and it repeatedly blows my fog light fuse.

Ideas on fixing this?

check your connections. It sounds like you have something hooked up backwards.

i'll take a look when i get more fuses. not gonna blow my last one with more messing around lol

You don't have to blow any more fuses. Use a DMM to find out which is hot.

yea i'm not gonna find that anytime soon, but i have a test light i'll try. thanks for the advice. i hadn't thought of doing that haha

I had a bad ballast causing that once. Try unplugging one ballast at a time and see if that helps.

I can have new ballasts sent out to you if you want? No charge to me or you. Might take a little while with the holiday and all. Hopefully its a quick fix though.

I'll let you know after I test em. Haven't gotten new fuses and I only have the one thats in there left haha
