I have a 2012 Denali with 18K Miles. I have 26" KMC Slides on it. Ive noticed a problem almost like a misfire between 800 to 2000 rpms, the truck feels like its chugging along to get up to speed. I took it to the shop they told me it was a YAW sensor, had them replace the sensor and the problem came back after a few days. When I am turning left or right at about 15-25mph the traction control kicks in and this happens on dry pavement. Could the bigger wheels be throwing the system off?

Do you have stock wheels? I would switch back, test drive it, and see if it acts the same. If it does I would take into the dealer with stock wheels since it should be under warranty still.

I have the factory wheels, the truck acts the same, when I took it into the dealership I had the factory wheels on it. When they replaced the YAW sensor I asked him if it needed re programmed for bigger wheels he said no, go ahead and do your thing with the wheels. The problem came back a day after I got it back from them and this was with stock wheels. I put my 26" wheels on and dropped it off to them last night so they can figure out what the problem is. I do NOT have a factory warranty because the title is branded, have extended warranty though that covers everything minus my $100 deductible.
