Opinions! I was told the tranny was not lined up and it was torqued into possession causing the all the cracks to the bell. Need advice cuz if this is the car lot covering up i wanna have them fix it. There was gasket seal all over covering up the leak. Guy said geasket seal fell off showing the leak. Help

I can't help on the technical side but was the vehicle bought "as is"? Your first post on this said you bought it 11 months ago. My guess is an 07 was not sold with any warranty (of course I could be wrong), but getting the dealer to fix anything like this might not be a viable option without legal action, which may cost you more than fixing it yourself.

that's oil and my first guess would be the rear main, pull off that little inspection plate and look in there with a flashlight
if it's only on the side with the oil filter then check the oil filter adapter above it.

What do you mean by help #3? I see your bell housing is all broke to shit- what the hell happened? Flex plate bolts come off at high RPM's or what?
Edit: I saw help # 3 thread. Why do you have 3 separate threads on the same problem? This is what clogs up this forum. Maybe ask the mods to consolidate all 3?

Oh, and I'd replace the bell housing period. It's cracked. It will fatigue and fail over time.

In the future: Please keep it to one thread. I have no idea which one I'm supposed to respond to.

I've alerted the mods, hopefully they can help consolidate

im just guessing also that the leak could be coming from the top of the engine? as to the bellhousing cracks, "YIKES" i would not be surprised to find your pump to converter engagement is fubar, crushed, smashed together. normally i try to sugarcoat bad news but that bellhousing is pure mechanical debotchery! one explanation for the crack is only that hardware was loose installed and somehow the trans jack fell and the trans tilted and that bolt took the full load?
