You can carefully cut it at the crimp, or replace it. Dorman has a 3/4 inch quick connect elbow that goes to 5/8 hose barb. Drop your spare tire and look up. You'll see the two half inch aluminum pipes, the hoses are cripped to the end of those pipes. It's easier to use a small pipe cutter and cut the pipes, then use a half inch compression fitting adapted to a hose barb.

Not very user friendly to get in there and carefully cut the crimp off, which is why I went with relocating the connection for easy access later on. You can see where the original crimps were

Everything's available on Amazon. I used the half inch compression to 8AN male fitting. Then an 8AN female to a 5/8 hose barb. I prefer the oetiker crimp connections, but of course you can use your choice of hose clamps.
