Hey everyone, first time owning a Chevy in 20 years (and only second time owning a Chevy. First was a '69 C-10, straight six, 3spd manual). Everything since has been Volkswagen and Jeep. Work and personal needs dictated a bigger interior space, so I got a PPV! 4 days owning this now, but here are some pics:

Nice! They left a lot of stuff in there. What are you plans with it?

Well I think I'm gonna keep permanently the metal front console. Perhaps eventually changing the rear seat, but not sure how. Rear stopstick crate is amazing, well build, and soooo functional. The electronics box I'm not sure about yet

Today, going through the wiring. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't cover what was added by the installer, such as printer wires, comms units, accessory outputs, fuse boxes, the works. Fortunately, I have a pretty extensive history with shipboard electrical and electronics systems, and am figuring it out. First plan is to clean out the wires that I can identify as LEO specific, and figure out what I can repurpose. I have a goal for a few electronics (new radio unit(STINGER)(an Auto Vox camera system, and CB Radio. Maybe wiring for a trailer camera system. Already got one chunk of harness out, laptop and printer. We shall see how much more I can get today! Today's goal is to get power to the 3 added aux power outlets on the center console

This is taking longer than I thought. I'm trying to figure out a plan for reusing some stuff, digging through other cabling. I have yet to find a hot connection through all this. But I have removed 5 harnesses so far, and identified another five-ish.

There maybe a fuseblock tucked behind the glovebox too. At least that's where some diagrams show ppv power wiring.

Right now I have a thicker (10awg maybe?) cable interconnect I am chasing. It is the direct feed from the battery via 2 delphi quick connects. I have it snaking over the steering column, but I haven't found the other end yet. I did check behind the glove box, no dice

So I think it may be getting power from one of two missing fuses. Underhood fuse 58 ALC/COMP (40A) or 65ELEC RUN BOARD (30A). will need to get those, and just see what I get. I did see some electrical components at glove box area after additional digging, but I am pretty sure it's only 3fusable links tied to 3relays (1 ea). I also found a mysterious box that I thought maybe the accessory wire went to, but no. It is right over the firewall ***********, and not a fun device to deal with

Well, I'm done for today. Made a few decisions though. The VHF antenna wiring will stay, will change antenna to UHF for a mobile comms setup. May still add CB, TBD. They also left the mobile Wi-Fi wiring, am going to get a Cradlepoint to use that spectrum. That will allow for mobile remote work and road trip wifi. The Cradlepoint should also have a GOS transponder. The AutoVox or WolfPac will add 3 cameras (two front, one rear) and Stinger will add a 4th camera (parking). STINGER should also be able to have dedicated WiFi to the Cradlepoint.

All in all, I'd rather be in Dublin, Georgia. But, I'm happy for you....... and I'll bet you're going to get it just like you want it to be. How many miles? How many hours?
