Are the 2007 Yukon headlight housings interchangeable with the 2007 escalade housings? I've looked at several Esky pics, but not seeing them side x side, I can't tell if the contours are the same. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Yukon headlights look to be wider.

I imagine if they were directly swappable then we would have seen a lot of that happening already.

I saw some good pics of the esky lights, and they do not appear to have the same contour around the top-outside curve.

They are not unfortunately. It’s been tried, discussed and attempted but some time since it was last brought up.

Least expensive way to get a drop in a set of replacement headlamps in the truck that look & perform decent is these …

And slip in an an H1 LED bulb in the low beam projector with an integrated cooling fan as the resistor to satisfy the Can/Bus for errors. Do not install led in high beam reflector as you’ll spray light all over others who’ll not take kindly

The XB would be my first choice. Unfortunately a trade was occurring with our 08 YXL Denali for an Esky at the time the XB came out.

The nice thing about the XB is you can get your money back for them when selling the truck. They can also be resold for 80-90% of price paid by holding them hostage when selling the truck.

The Yukon and Escalade share the same fender, on the Escalade there is a vent but the shape around the headlight is the same, with that said the hood and bumper will need to be swapped if you want to install escalade headlights.

I would recommend to get aftermarket OEM designed syle headlights, open the lenses, drop PNP LED Projectors and shrouds and re-seal, that would be the best way to get really good lighting in those.

It would depend on how it looked. Not trying to make people think I drive an Esky....just thinking that the yukon lights are fugly.

I don't believe that the fenders alone fit without also changing the whole front clip, there shaped differently.

These look interesting.....how were the stock low beam bulbs that came with them? A few reviews are mixed but maybe they didn't use the adjustment screws and/or are unfamiliar with the projector cutoff pattern.

Do these housings have both vertical and horizontal adjustment?

I would buy those in a heartbeat if they offered a chrome version instead of only dark or smoke.

They went on my 08 YXL Denali right before it sold so it had upgraded PIAA halogen bulbs. Even with those, the H1 driving lights were inadequate.

Not sure if or where the adjustments were. I can tell you that those projector beams + those H1 bulbs I referenced will make you a happy camper.

I am the only one that really dislikes the looks of just about every ESV I've ever seen?
I plan on picking up some cheaper aftermarket headlamp assemblies because I would never drop $1k on a set of headlights.

My experience with those inexpensive aftermarket lights has been mediocre at best. When I first bought them, I switched from stock incandescent to the aftermarket ones, and they seemed better because they were so much brighter. I certainly prefer the look of them to OEM (which is why they're still in my sig pic). And I frequently got compliments. I put up with the uneven brightness in the beam pattern and the weird, sharp cutoff. But, after about a year, one of them started flickering. Then the ground connection inside one of them failed (they use in internal harness to adapt from the two sockets [H1 & H7] to the OEM harness plug). I was about to go on a long road trip, and didn't want to open it up to repair it, so I "temporarily" reinstalled the OEM lights. That's when I was reminded of how bad the light pattern was with the AM ones. I swapped a set of LED bulbs into the OEM housings, and haven't looked back. I've come to the conclusion that as far as lighting goes, there's stock, cheap, or good; you get to pick two.
