having to much fun

got my new door speakers so i decided to play around. i took my old speakers, wired the down to 1 ohm running on an audioque 3500.1 (4200rms at 1ohm)
they actually handled it better than i though. had awesome midbass and mids overall.... i had a hpf running at 100hz... once i turned it off and played some jeezy.... them things got stinky real quick and started smoking like crazy. sounded like a good pair of 10s...
4200rms split between (4) 6.5's... fun!!!
my new set im gonna run active and the mids will be ran at 2ohm on a Hifonics ZXI150.4 and the highs will be ran on a Hifonics ZXI150.4 as well but at 4ohm.

new mids and hi's consist of:
4 opti6c's
4 opti6c tweeters
4 konaki 3.5inch tweeters (if the optis dont keep up the way i want them too)

i wanted to but i just rooted my htc hero and things were acting funny. im gonna try to make a video this weekend with 2 of the speakers that arent 100% blown.
slowly getting my money together so i can pay kevin to make my box and grab these 2 dc audio xl15s.
id love a little more power for them too but i spent to much going active for the mids/hi's.. i dint plan on buying 2 of the same amps. i was gonna use the jl amp i already had for the hi's but sold it to a friend ...
had a chance to get 2 alpine pdx 4.150s and i thought about it b/c i know they're clean as hell but decided not to and get the hifonics
