Demo with phone distorting the audio
Under seat amplifier that keeps overheating pushing 1k watts into my 2 12’s @ 2 ohms
2 skar SDR-12’s dvc 2 ohm each which during a demo can be wired for .5 ohms and moves glass around with 1200+ watts @.5 ohms the original 10 gauge power wire melted the fuse holder at 2 ohms on a hour long session. So I upgraded to 1/0 skar the only problem is the wire is way too huge for such small terminals so I need either reducers or to run them this sketchy until I get a new amp
I am also running a factory amplifier bypass and 4 skar tx65’s currently working on a big 3 upgrade , dual alternator? , wiring the rear pillar speakers to the doors and adding skar 3” dome tweeters when I order them , when my electrical is all done I’m going to be adding a 4 channel amp and running new door speaker wires so i will know what wires do what as the amp bypass I currently have has no labels and if something goes wrong I will have no idea which wire goes to what speaker I’m also running a $40 amazon touch screen double din radio I’m working on modifying the dash bezel with the metra kit everything except the wires that run from the headunit to the door speakers is aftermarket and booms there is much more to be done with it like change the amp to one that doesn’t wanna overheat on 1000> watts……… 1/0 skar amp wiring kit with rockvilles RCA’s and remote turn on wire gonna also try wiring the subs a different way to make sure both coils hit I honestly think only one voice coil on each sub is bumping once I upgrade my amp I’ll never need to change my power or ground wire. If anyone has any questions on the wiring I can probably take some pictures but most of it is straightforward I’m saving the RCA’s that came with my skar wiring kit to wire my 4channel amp in.
