GM Build Sheet Help

So I was reading where people were paying to get their build sheets and that’s not cool when I paid 0.00 and just sent a email.

I emailed [email protected] with my VIN and request for the build sheet. I got a response and a pdf of my build sheet two days later. Worth a shot to shoot them an email and see if you hear back.

Here’s my email I wrote..

Hello,
I was wondering if I could please get a copy of my tahoes build sheet. The vin is 1GNEC13Z76R134609 it is for a 2006 Tahoe LT Bermuda Blue. The plan is to restore it to show room condition and keep it in the family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well... That is nice -- I did the same. But I am a bit A/R, so I purchased a Monroney label: https://monroneylabels.com/

It was something like $5. I attached the one for our 2005 Tahoe.

The Monroney label is as close as you are likely to get, unless you have an in with GM.

FYI, You get all that free @ dealer

"GM global connect" can print out all that info @ local GM dealer


Did few times when I worked for Chevy Dealer in California lol

It’s definitely worth $5-6 to not have to go do a damn dealer. I hate those places.

I had mine and someone vacuuming the truck out must have trashed it as it disappeared. I'd left it blowing around in the truck. I didn't appreciate what I had until it was gone

I got my RPO’s decoded by GM customer service quite awhile ago for free but the window sticker is kinda cool also.

Not fancy, but I got everything I needed to know about the equipment and options that my Tahoe came with.

I did the same, then took a pic of the RPO sticker, enlarged it to a full page and printed it. Then on the back I wrote the decoded RPO’s that mattered to me. It comes in handy when looking at things like gear ratios, powertrain components, color codes, etc. The window sticker doesn’t fit on a single page iirc so it stays stored away.
