Revised Belltech Trailblazer Coils and airlift helper bags, should help immensely. I may drop the front down a hair more if these are lower than the current belltech tb coils, everything should be in this weekend.

Looking forward to pics and review on then. Might be next purchase to get a little lower. Do you think helper bags are necessary for them?

What kind of setup do you have now??? What tire size do you have and how much fender space and bumper clearance do you have with it? Lookin to get mine done but still want a smooth ride!!!!

I don't have helper bags in the current belltech coils and they bottom out on themselves occasionally. These have a higher springrate which can be increased more via the helper bags, my 5305 coils rode great with the bags at 10 psi.

Are you planning on cutting 1 coil off it? Interested on how that would be? Either way, can't wait to hear how it turns out n rides?

MAX WRONG HELPER BAG

Pm me if you want the right number.

ive been cutting these same belltech springs for months now here is a pic of the one set ive done

heres were you cut it
rearspring2.jpg

level off top
rearspring5.jpg

and the helper bag inside you will get about a 6-6.5 inch drop. Your bag is MUCH to tall
rearspring6.jpg

When the truck comes down there is less then 6 inches of space and in turn your helper bags will bind and cause ride to be worse.

also the street performance belltechs with this set up ride much better. the 5100 bilsteins are jarring.

now on the cutting of the coils ive cut 2.5 loops off you will need the 18.5 extended shocks.

I have the other bags, just ordered the oe trailblazer bags to see how they fit. I'm not cutting the coils, just seeing how low it'll sit with just the coils...I can always cut them later if need be. I'm gonna try this setup with the bilsteins and see how it rides, I have the belltechs in stock along with some 9000XL ranchos and plan to try a few others. I've done the ranchos on a few other lifted tahoes and they rode awesome.

with the belltech rear spring and street performance shocks rides great. the bag in my pic fits in no problem and dont even waste your time on that bag use the 6 inch extended one.

Ill see if i can have a few customers chime in also. that 72 year old customer with the set up i gave him on his black tahoe i posted loves the ride.

I may cut them, just apprehensive about cutting coils from my import days. The ranchos look burly as hell so I may go that route simply for the adjustment and overall size. I found some that are 21.5" extended just like my bilsteins...remember I have shock extensions.

if you cut the springs will sit low.

also you want a good riding spring ive been testing the gf tb spring and with its dead coils it has ive cut them and ride great.

here is a pic of it installed this same spring gave a customers tahoe a 4.75 drop off the batt. thing is with 7 dead coils you can trim WITH NO change in ride just height.

I wish someone made a progressive coil that wasn't too tall in free height but had a fairly high springrate, I think these belltechs are the ticket if I can get them tuned in and trim them to fit...I'm doing some taller tires with the tbss 22s so I have some room to play around. Honestly if these sit the same height as the coils currently in the truck I'll be stoked since it will ride infinitely better with the helper bag acting as the bumpstop. Adjustable control arms will be next I'm thinking, the spohn panhard made a good bit of difference and the wheel being offcentered irritates me sometimes. Once it rides smooth I'll be able to focus on the trans swap and finish the nitrous install so I can get this big bastard off the line and into the low 13s :D

max do yourself a favor get that ground force spring i posted there thats why i sold everything else and im stickign to that one. progressive and so many springs that are dead you can trim like I did with no change on ride as long as you cut the dead coils.

i got many tahoes in the low 13s on a 50 shot
intake
long tubes
4.10 gears
yank ptb3600 stall
50 shot
mt 275 40 17 drag rads

low 13s easy

These little guys?

grf-1085_w.jpg

Those 60748 work inside? I'm gonna be on the 12th set of coils on this goddamn thing soon. Takes a bit more to run quick up here at 5280' unless you have boost so 100 or 150 shot should do the trick once I throw an 80e with a stall in this *****.
