No. It's sounds like a hissing noise.
Vacuum and hiss sound nothing alike, they don't even have the same vowels or consonants.

It wouldn't hurt it. And on the plus side it less oil going in the wrong area.

I bought it last jan with 89k. 07 Yukon 5.3. After reading, I disabled the afm, then did the catch can.. I dnt have any records on the maintenance, but the transmission fluid was burnt when i had the dealership change it, so it prob had never been changed.

No, I meant, I have 1/2 that amount come out of my catch can. I put around 5000 miles on it also before draining it.

Yeah, I know. I dnt know how it was treated for the 1st 89k. So I'm not sure if lack of maintenance causes more oil in the intake

The 6.0 and 6.2's don't really need them, but the 4.8 and 5.3's do.

There's an upgraded valve cover that limits the oil blow by. It's got nothing to do with engine size other than the newer engines having the redesigned cover. My catch can gets a good amount blow by oil in my 6.0.

After looking at this if you have a 6.0 with the PCV built into the valve cover then it's the upgraded valve cover? My 04 Escalade has the 6.0 and doesn't have a removable PCV valve it's built in as pictured
