What is the large 30A fuse marked "AIR" for in the fuse box in the engine bay? I picked up a 2000 Yucon 2500 about a month ago. The truck was clean as a penny and checked out without issue. The slot is empty but AC/Heat and fans all work as expected so it's not that. Just interested in what it's for.

I went outside the box and Googled my earlier question and found a possible answer, but it led to a new possibility. I found a few posts that pointed to the fuse being for a Secondary Air Injection Reaction Pump. I also found a TSB for the 2000 Yucon that detailed a CEL code related to clogged check valves between the pump and the exhaust and the potential for the pump seizing due to condensation backing up into it (but it didn't clarify the motor or if it was inclusive of the 5.7 and 6.0). Now my new question, I ran out to grab a fuse and had a chat with the guys at ADVANCE and they couldn't find the check valves or the secondary pump when they did a search. I passed on the fuse and have since crawled under the the truck and haven't found anything below the manifold but O2 sensors. Can anybody confirm if the 6.0 has the secondary pump, I tried the local GMC dealer but 5 minutes on hold just waiting for the service department to pick up confirmed the need for this forum.
