Front marker light wiring question

I am adding some front marker lights to my grille and am curious what the opinion is on which lights to tap into? DRL or Parking lamps seem to make sense, but which one?

If the vote is parking lamps, which wires? I have Blue, Purple and Black.

Look up a wiring diagram or just simply test with a test light at the light socket.

The parking light wire should be a brown wire. On my 2001 it is, at least.
Perhaps it might be purple or blue on a 2003-2006.
