A new to me 2007 Yukon has some pretty shoddy headlight wiring and I have all the parts to replace the headlight assemblies (both sides) due to many issues. But the foremost issue is on the passenger side where, as you can see in the picture, some of the wiring has suffered the wrath of the passenger side front wheel (wheel rub) after the bulb melted out of the socket and that harness was allowed to drop down and eat rubber (and transmission fluid -- the other project I am also endeavoring the fix; trans cooler line leak). At any rate -- I need to decode these wires so that I can properly re-terminate them with a new harness connector. Does anyone know what each wire represents by jacket color?
BLACK WIRE (GROUND?)
BLACK WIRE (GROUND?)
PURPLE WIRE ?
GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPE WIRE ?
BROWN WITH WHITE STRIPE WIRE ?

Thanks in advance.

www.charm.li has wiring diagrams.

Here's a link to the headlight bulb connectors, with function and pin position in the connector. But verify your specific vehicle and navigate to it if needed.

Here's a link for the same vehicle (as above) for the Wiring Diagram Index. Headlight diagrams can be selected in the second chart -- the links in the second column are hot and will take you to the stated diagram. (Diagram 3 in the chart is for RPO code Z75; not sure what you have.)

Should be an easy fix, with what @Fless has provided to you. Just make sure that you protect the splices with shrink wrap or something similar.

Thanks Fless or the help. The fix has been implemented and the new headlights work great. Green wire was 12v power, the tan with white stripe was the middle wire, and black... ground obviously. The other black wire was ground for the fog lights and the purple wire was fog light 12v. I just had to get in there in all the grime and mess confirm wires with my multimeter while going back and forth between the switches and the wires, turning on/off different circuits and measuring voltage. But all works now and the car made it's 2,000 trip without issues and with great illumination (used Hikari "wings" LED's for illumination on the low/hi beams and they have a great illumination pattern, great kelvin, and awesome output (without blinding oncoming traffic). If the previous owner hadn't done such shoddy repair work (was involve in front end collision) -- this would not have been such a mess in the first place.
