Anyone else have an issue in their 2021 model with the fit and finish of the front bumper piece where it meets up with the fender and front headlight?

Attached are photos if what mines doing. I had the dealership fix this once where they removed the bumper and repainted it as there was a large chip missing from this area (probably due to what's shown in the photo). I'll probably mention it again to the dealer, although I hope the pressure on whatever is happening doesn't get so bad it breaks the clips or whatever is holding that cover on.

2022 Tahoe here. Experiencing exact same issue with mine probably just as bad with fitment. Paint is chipping at the same spot. Have dealership working with GM to authorize a warranty repair which will involve repainting the bumper. Process for fix is taking weeks, frustrating

That’s exactly how my 21 looked prior to them repainting it.

Today though it’s still as bad as what the photos I posted. Really curious how long it will be before it chips off again.

Curious what fix they do on yours and hopefully it’s better than what was done on mine.

looks like it needs to be sanded down a hair, paint and put a clip on it. Dealer probably won't do that though.

My local dealer has to sub contract out their paint and body work so I’m asking to use a local reputable shop that already took a look at it. Was told it might be best to sand it down some to avoid the tight fit. Also said that with it being such a tight fitment, and with vehicles torquing while driving, unless you modify it somehow by sanding etc then you’re going to be dealing with the same issue again. Seems to be a widespread issue, I probably look like a weirdo but anytime I see a Tahoe in a parking lot I try to look to see if theirs look like mine and unfortunately seems to be the case more often than not

have them put a clip on it after re-assembly and it should be fine

So is this caused by bind due to twisting of the body of vehicle?

probably more by wind and heat/cold, the force of wind pushes on it then getting hot and cold make it warp a little right there and if the two surfaces do not mate well then one gives.
or just bad production mold and they just do not fit together right, once they get enough reports they will fix the production issue
