so i vinyl wrapped my tahoe myself, it took about a week because i had to work, but whats everyone think?

shaved tailgate
matted taillights
de-badged and moldings
no logos
new T-rex Grille, matted that as well.
KMC Empire rims 22"
blacked my handles
matching tint in front windows.

did all the mods myself.

Man that looks great. Complete transformation from a stock black Tahoe.

I'd remove that back handle off the glass though. It will really give it a clean look

Excellent Work.

You forgot to shave the thing off the glass (like NathanJax said), and the roof rack.:)

How hard is the wrap to work with as a material overall?

What brand of wrap is this 3M?

And what color?

Nicely done!!!! I've thought about applying a vinyl wrap for years but just never have gotten around to it :) I'll be curious to see how it stands up. I like how you shaved the rear wiper too :)

Looks awesome! Shave the plastic on rear glass. Makes a huge difference actually. I did mine and love it. Lower it also it will look great.
Really a nice job and very well done.

Looks sick. Did you take the bumpers off to wrap them? And how hard of a job was the roof? I want to do mine as well.

i dont plan on lowering it, tires rub already.

i did unbolt the bumpers when i wrapped it but left bolted so it wouldnt move.

the vinyl i used was 3M 1080 matte dark grey metallic

looks great..if you dont mind me asking, what did it run? my paint is starting to show its age, and it would be a great option to repainting it once i got the required body work cleaned up

How about posting some pics of the door jamb area, never seen how it looks like where the vinyl turns in.

I want to black my handles... But seems like every car I have ever taken the door skins off has developed rattles..... Really don't want to do that to the Denali since its so quiet!

Very well done. Looks great. Normally I am very skeptical because I have seen one too many wrap jobs that left a lot to be desired.
You hit the nail on the head with this one. Congrats.
