He took a California Car Duster to it, but it had dust and salt and after he wiped it m.... it looked like crap and I cringed coz there were hairline scratches.

Not acceptable on a garage Queen but he doesn’t know any better and it hurts ... I could see the imperfections....

@Fosscore , I’m just like you are about keeping my truck clean. Everyone else sees a clean shiny silver truck and I see dust and pine tree sap everywhere and I’m like good god it’s FILTHY :confused:!!! Lol I
Haven’t had much moisture to speak of lately here in SoCal so I have every reason to wash my truck every week and towel it down every two days in between :D

@Bigbeardenali1992
Well said and I approve of this message.

I enjoyed it. Where the heck has @Sevenevez been lately? As a matter of fact--where have you been lately:mad:?

@Tonyrodz

I'm just trying to catch up on 3 months of TYF threads. :)

I hit the paint with Mother's Speed Clay 2.0 to get the paint ready for a DA polish and wax. But, Tropical Storm Gordon blasted through today dumping a couple inches of rain, so the paint work will have to wait.

After the rain today waiting to be polished out...

Being that the Tahoe is an 06 does it have factory e-fans? The 05-06 ones that have e-fans have an access panel in the fuse box I’m trying to see what it looks like if you happen to have it

@95escahoe
Yes OEM e-fans.

Random search and found this write up with pictures FWIW.

I can get some better pictures in the day.

Main fuse panel inside the engine compartment.

Says the separate block closest to the firewall, right next to the main fuse block houses the e-fans fuses. Looks like I might have to remove the crossmember to pull the plastic cover off and snap a better pic for you. Let me have a better look in the day time to see if I can access that for you.
