well I asked a tons of questions and requested tons of pics... but wanted to fit my needs with performance still in mind. I decided on a 1.5" when people recomended 2 & 3. I made careful calculations into what I would want, so here are some pics

I have alot of weight in the rear including a 80e tranny.

IMO, I LOVE the lifted look better than lowered, and she handles great... still going to add HD hood and some Indicator side mirrors. Then time for the repaint. Video is taking some time to upload.

wouldn't recommend this in a 35mph zone. Did this on a back street after taken the pics. You can see where she really starts to pull as she shifts at 60mph. its insane. All of this is with a slipping 80e tranny waiting to be swapped. The clutches are welded on this one. So Im anxious to see what it will feel like. Notice I had no need to brake stall the truck on this video. But imagine if I did!

Did u mean wheel spacers or coil spacers? It seems your front it higher fender height then the rear and your wheels stick out for a SS replica rim. Overall looks good but I prefer more level then the front higher

BOTH. And I have tons of weight in the cargo, my entire tool box about 500lbs, and a new 4l80e tranny and converter about 400lbs, so almost 1000lbs in cargo alone, plus she still moved out pretty good..... :D

the rear is lifted 1.5" coil spacer
the front is lifted with 1-3" ebay keys (narrowed the track width)
Front got 2" wheel spacers, and rear got 1.5" spacers
Believe me she should be pretty level, once I get the weight out of the rear end. I too was amazed how much the springs compressed even with the spacer. I just need to get rid of the weight. But this makes me want to swap to Z71 springs in case I ever tow anything.

I really dont mind the CALI, I just HATE front rake. I should off load it this weekend and get some new pics, and videos.

got the 1000lbs out of my cargo, the rear end sprung up greatly, had to crank front 2 turns to get it level. I think the rear is too high. Im going to remove my coil spacers, to see the stance with the wheel spacers with front decranked, leveled.

We did something similar with our 05. Since it had the autoride, we put in lifting keys, and once the front went up the truck automatically attempts to level it with the autoride air shocks. Got 2" of lift with no ill effects!

Not yet, but she looks sick, its staying this way for sure. the front is decranked to match the rear height stock 2wd. She looks very sporty with the wheel spacers too. It handles and rides tons better, she is stay this way. Ill post pics soon as I take some.

looks good man. well done. i was in the same boat as you...read about the lifts before getting mine. settled on 1.5" with keys & spacers. I wanted a lift but didnt want the 2-3 inch lift. Wanted the look of tucked in beefier tires.

I really dig your setup. Wonder how she looks all clean!

Welcome to the black on black club. I still have some painting to do. Here's mine:

I came across this forum looking for information to level my '01 Denali in the front and came across this thread. 'Hoe and Polobuds your trucks look great :favorites37:and have that look I am attempting to achieve with Bilstein 5100's (front adjustable) and Z-71 springs and a coil spring spacer in the rear if needed. I am deleting Auto-ride as shocks and compressor are gone. I just need enough clearance to clear 33" tires. I will be checking in with pics once I get situated (this is my first post).

well, I removed the 1.5" lift spacer, and lowered the front down by decranking to make it perfectly level with the rear. I left the wheel spacers on, and she looks good. I plan on HD hood and front end.

Here are the leveled pics

Needs some 305/55/20 trail graps with that stance and it would look dope as ****. Scoop some helper bags for the back if you wanna help it hook and plan to tow.

I watched the video and couldnt help but notice that on your truck you have the ABS and BRAKE lights on too. I have the same problem. Have you narrowed it down to what it is? Btw nice ride. Diggin the black on black.

Its the ABS signal from the wheel bearing hub. It disables the abs so the brake light comes on at same time. Also if you re-gear the pcm needs to be updated to correct any errors. It matches the wheel sensor to the vehicle speed sensor, and throws codes. You problem could be anything from a new hub, to pcm retune.

I liked it better with the 1.5'' spacer in the rear. Im gonna do a 1.5 rear and 2-3'' keys in the front of my denali. What size tires you running?
