Fabtech 4" kit K1081

U had some wore down 285/45/22 before and then u put new 33x12.50x22 tires and that's the only lift on the front end. I feel like fabtech sent the wrong lift parts or something

The zone kit would that mess with the magnetic suspension? What parts would it use to stack? I have this love kit that was taken off to put this lift on, not sure if could use either of these to lift the front up any more with out over stretching the front suspension

Ok the rear seems a bit off from their instructions but shock length and coil spacer seem to match for height gains. I do think you could add that lower spacer you have from level kit under the fabtech one. This will add an extra 1/2" up front. It still won't get you close to the rear fenders. I would check angles up front after that 1/2" add but think it will still be safe judging by current angles.

The rear we could measure the current coil spacer and deduct 1/2-1" off it to get it level with front. I would measure all spacer parts because the front says 3" upper spacer and no lower spacers. So total lift might only be 3" where I said you could add that other lower spacer to get 3.5" total. The rear looks a lot taller than pictured in kit. Take all measurements of spacers and call Fabtech support. Those guys have been a big help and could validate parts of the box list number for your kit.

Other option is zone 4" lift box up front and combination of those strut spacers and maybe an ebay one to get 4" total. Then some FTS ride height extenders so auto ride is set back to normal. That would put front somewhere around 41.5" from stock at 37.5".

Measure spacer heights and see what that gives you for lift. If I am looking at the correctly that is all they are doing for the lift portion but then providing . If they send a 4" spacer for the differential drop for CV angles and upper control arms for a fix to BJ angles. If the front measures 4" and rear measures 4" you will have a rake as it is around a 2" rake from the factory. I would be careful stacking leveling kits but everyone has their own opinion on the matter.

Although the fabtech kit looks like a good small lift compared to other versions I would be more worried about the incorrect length of the rear end links and lack of shock extenders as these will effect things more than a rake.

Take a minute to measure the spacers and that will give you all the answers for what you need. If Fabtech tells you that it should be level and the front and rear are raised 4" there is no possible way this can happen or if they sent you rear spacers for a 6" instead of 4" lift you can tell them that.

That's retarded. They say yes it will sit level and then on the other email they say it will have rake.

If they told you it would sit level I would be upset too. What size is the front spacer? I would think if the rear is 3" the front would have to be 5" to be level or 4" and 2".

I emailed them back saying -- I'm also unsure why I was advised this is a 4" lift when it's only 3.5"? The front didn't even seem to move the 1" to make it 3.5" the front is 2" shorter than the rear also. If I drop it 2" in the rear that still doesn't get me the look I was hoping for as the front is seemingly short for the kit as well

No lift kit across the industry is going to give you the exact height, not sure why but if you look at tow identical trucks with 6" lifts from different manufacturers they will not be the same height, some may actually be a 5", some a 7", and everywhere in between.

Ok figured it all out... well got the solution.

Going to get a fabtech 6" at a steal of a price, and 4WP will return the 4", and return my 33" tires. Install the 6" kit and mount and balance the 35" tires for free, just pay the difference in the tire cost.

Got fabtech to send a rear 1" spacer so that can be added as needed to get the level look.

Fabtech said the 4" kit is really 3.5" and mine ended up being around 3" if not right under that.
Fabtech told me the 6" kit is really measured out to 7.5" on the install

All in all it was about a $1300 difference. Kit will just be up to 4 weeks to ship.

Let's just hope the 6" kit doesn't have the RAKE like the 4"... fingers crossed for you buddy

Yeah they told me that it would be higher in the front, so that's why I got fabtech to toss in the 1" rear spacer to make up the height back there

Yeah that's terrible lift for the size. Only use the 4" zone kit if anybody wants that height. I've seen one other burb set at 6" with 35s on 22. It looked great! Hope yours turns out the same. Got a lucky deal to swap tires and get more lift.

So back to your 3" spacer issue, it looks like the same spacer but in 2" would give it much less rake, but still have some for heavy-ish loads. By your dimensions it would be around 1.25" higher in the back? Thats not tooo bad.
