epoxy resin over black plastic

I have some 2 part clear epoxy left over from doing some countertops.
I was considering a test application over some of the commonly faded black plastics.
But i am at a loss for what i could use to revive the black, that would not be an issue for bonding.
Any ideas?

Don't they sell pigments for epoxy? Just get some black.
