Engine to clean?

OK heres the deal,a friend of mine came over the other day and i was showing him the hoe,he said that my engine is way to clean for a truck what do you guys think?

There's just no use for us daily driver 4x4 guys you know? I've cleaned my engine bay once. I'd LOVE to have a pretty looking engine bay but it would only stay that way for an hour as I drive out of my house and plow through a big muddy road.

How do you clean your engine bays? I've cleaned mine before but its never been that freaking clean, I seriously think my intake and whole top of the motor are stained with mud. Ill take a pic today, you should too blackcoffee we can show them how the engine bay is suppose to look! lol

Well I have to be honest guys my truck is a daily driver but a show truck as well,so that means my tire wells are almost spotless as well lol,and i am not meticulous I'm just a clean freak. And with several things in the works for this year ie:Looking to be on next years BullRun and hoping to make one of the magazines this year,but we will see how it goes,this Sat is the first big show of the year in Visalia Ca their expecting over 1200 trucks and over 300 cars and only the top 100 will get a trophy so keep your fingers,toes,eyes,arms and leggs crossed for me lol
