Stopped at the gas station did my thing got some gas and checked the oil dip stick , it was bone dry or was it a false reading??

I added 1/2qt to it as not to over fill the crank case (just in case of error reading) i'll check the morning

did not hear any abnormal noise from the engine.
AFM seem to shift between v4-v8 smoothly.

it did not trip the low oil sensor or Low Oil Pressure PSI seemed fine with in my engine "normal range"50-75PSI(as seen on start up)

the only thing i changed was 1qt 0w30 + 5qt of 5-30 on the last oil change.. before i was using only 5-30w 6qt

another engine bites the consumption dust?

I rarely check my oil at gas stations anymore, hard to get a good reading as the oil takes a while to drain back down into the pan from the various places up top. Or all of your ring lands lined up for a while and drank the oil. One of my Montanas would do this once every couple of years, otherwise the motor runs fantastic.

maybe when you see the brake fluid level drop it's sucking the oil in also
otherwise, did you check for any leaks?
I thought the high-powered hybrids ran on battery power?
or maybe it's the MAP sensor
I'm just messing with ya :D

they did under fill it slightly according to the measurements on the bottle it had 4.25qt in the 5 qt bottle before i put any in... in the 0w30 (I don't waste 10$ a qt on on 1qt bottles) so it's at 3.75 qt left in the bottle
and passed the line on the dip stick so it did not consuming anything i might buy a bigger pan for it so it can hold 8qt instead ..

i'll buy a catch can for it though to prevent damage
