Engine Covers

hey all, recently decided to take a peak at the Cadillac engine covers. it has sparked an interest that i want to dress up my under hood...

i would like to aske the Escalade owners fi they can post some pics of the stock covers ???

i notice on the parts site that a injector rail cover seems standard, but also seems that an intake cover was also an option...

i would like to find these parts and finish the endeavor to paint my engine (covers), giving it a red appearance.

any assistance would be awesome.

I'm on the east coast and it's dark AF outside right now. If no one else responds, I'll snap some pics in the morning when there is more light and post them for ya. Anything in particular you want to focus on?

just curious as to what all COVERS are offered vs. how they look on the engine.

i am inteerested in installing the fuel rail cover above the valve cover heat shields...those i did in red. just wanting to give a clean slick appearance

I did mine over a year ago. They came out great. Unfortunately the intake cover is not on yet due to what amounted to access to 2 bolt locations so that was put on hold due to time constraints (i.e. been working out of town for over 2 1/2 years). But they came out great and look great under the hood.


A few months after this we also did the radiator fan shroud. We installed that just over 2 weeks ago when I was home for a few days and was working on the Escalade.

Btw. I have the cover and the coil pack covers that came off my Escalade if you are interested. The plenum cover has not been switched out yet.

i saw your thread, one of the only i could find.

depending on your location (shipping) i would be interested in the coil cover...possibly the intake cover, but that may stay black. Let me know your location, i am in Louisiana.

Small world. I live in Florida but have been working in either Louisiana or Mississippi for the last close to 3 years. I stay in Slidell when I am there. I could bring them back with me on one of my travels to and from.

very small, i am from St.Louis Mo...been down here since 2012 off and on, relocated in 2016...ALL FOR WORK.

Lake Charles is now HOME> for a short while, Probably Texas bound here soon.

Keep in touch during your travels, i tend to wait for parts like this to appear close rather than hunt to hard.

I see. Sounds like a plan. Just got word that we are working through the holidays so I will be up that way again soon. My assignment is slated to end ~ the end of Feb. I will then travel home here in Florida and keep working on this effort until we launch.
