How much taller is this intake then the stock one?

I have it and it's not much different.. Why do you ask?

If I were to guess.. it only raised the TBI by MAYBE an inch..? (again that's a rough guess). I had to cut a slightly longer vacuum hose to the front of the TBI.. that's about it.

Stock on the right, Edelbrock stuff on the left.

You know where the factory intake snaps into the fender? Well the Volant does too so if it gets raised up it won't snap in, not a huge deal prolly

Ahh I see, I see. Yeah I don't think it raises it enough to cause any issues over on the fender side. :)

Yup you can or run a modded one, a lil more power through the rpm range, if you do it with cam and heads youll see a bigger gain, theres a place on Ebay that sells the stock TBI intake they clean it up paint it silver and mod it a lil it is supposed to flow as good as this and looks stock for around $150 xtreme efi sells it
