That's pretty small!

The 7" screen? I guess it could be bigger. I'd like one to fit the entire DD opening without needing a trim/filler piece. But, that'd be more like custom-molding in a tablet (which I considered very briefly).

I have a '00 Yukon XL, and I pulled the radio tub and the dash bezel out of an '05 Tahoe and did some trimming to let me install a double-din touch screen radio.
I didn't remove the dash brace.
The radio is just short enough to fit without cutting it.

You MIGHT get lucky and not need to trim, but I'd be prepared if I were you.

I recently bought a Pioneer MVH-300EX off Amazon for $175. It has pretty much everything other than CD, DVD and NAV. If you don't need those features, it's a pretty good price for a brand new model with a big touchscreen.

Are you sure it has navigation? The Amazon description doesn’t list it as a feature on that unit.
