It's a pain to look them up every time so here's what I'm doing.
I converted a pdf of the RPO to a text file.
I'll delete each code line that does not match my RPO codes and end up with a quick list I can refer to in the future.
I'll probably just write a script for 010 where I only need to enter my RPO codes and it will do the deletes for me.

I took a picture of the tag in the glove box then had it converted to a text file free online.
Will a small bit of editing I have a complete RPO tag to use.

The script will read 3 spaces and search the master RPO sheet for a match.
If found it gets written to a new file.
It will go through all the RPO codes and I'll have a complete list.

If others are interested in doing the same thing? I can write a stand alone program to compare 2 files and output a list.

So I'm not the only one that geeks out on what my new to me truck's RPO list is? Cool idea, Jeff! I've only gone so far as bookmarking a webpage that has a list...

Between the Company trucks, My personal rides, and SHMBO's ride? I need the lists printed so I don't have to look them up all the time.

Here's the search info I need to pass to the script.

AG1 AG2 AJI AN3 AT5 AUO AXP A31 BVE B30 B39
B58 B85 C25 C36 C49 C68 C69 C7K DF5 DH2 DK7
DR2 D07 EVA E52 FE9 FK2 FK3 GU6 G65 G80 JAN
JC5 KG8 KUP K34 LM7 M30 NF2 NP5 NW7 PF4 QMK
R7C R9F R9Z SLL SLT T96 UEI UG1 UP0 UQ3 UY7
VB3 VG3 VXS V22 V54 V73 V76 XMK X88 YD3 YD6
YE9 YMK ZMK ZM9 ZW7 ZY1 1SC 1SZ 11U 6XN 7Xn
921 922

Each 3 alphanumeric codes are searched in a master RPO list.
If found I get a list of that code and it's meaning.
Example:

AG1 ADJUSTER FRT ST POWER, MULTI-DIRECTIONAL, DRIVER
AG2 ADJUSTER,SEAT,6-WAY POWER,SPLIT BENCH,PASSENGER
AG2 ADJUSTER PASS ST POWER, MULTI-DIRECTIONAL

Note that I may have multiple results.
I will also get a statement that RPO not found if there is a missing code in the Master List.

Given you have the proper Master RPO list for the given vehicle and the correct RPO's for the vehicle?
It will work for any model, make, and year.

I like to create EXCEL spreadsheets for the RPO codes. You want to be careful on where the data comes from as RPOs are often reassigned from one platform to the next or the wording used changes even though it's the same thing.

It's easy enough to pay compnine for 5 VINs or just email GM directly and they'll email you a breakdown of the RPO sheet in your truck.

My sticker has 103 RPOs, how many do you guys got?

There's 79 on my '01 Tahoe?
I ain't paying some company for what I can find myself.
And I found GM don't care much if you have a used vehicle.

Suit yourself, compnine was well worth it during my search for the truck. With the RPO sheet, didn't have to bother asking the salesman if this or that was on it.

GM has been very responsive to me and others here with our used trucks. It's been a few years, maybe someone remembers how to contact the right people at GM?

The build sheet that gm provides via email is in excel format already, seems like your doing a lot of necessary work, chat will be open tomorrow morning, they are closed on Sundays and work about half the day on Saturdays.

You could always just use
cadillacfaq.com ( http://www.cadillacfaq.com/rpo/index.php )
You can copy your list over, and then just separate with commas.

You could get the member to email the code printout.

Once you have a list, (what I do), is just print it to PDF. All my receipts, all saved pages, I have 100+ page pdf body build catalogs, etc... just saved in a folder.
