When we adopted her, we were told she was a shepherd mix. But looking at pictures online and her mannerisms, she could be a Carolina dog. I only have 1 dog for now, and one cat. I had a lab/pit mix, but he died shortly before I adopted my current one.

She looks laid back. Sorry to hear about your other pup.

Does anyone else do retriever training, hunt tests, etc?

Bailey and I just got a started pass this past weekend in our first hunt test. Working towards a seasoned pass now, hopefully by spring.

Just adopted this hound today from a local rescue group. He’s 5 and has a rough start in life. He’s missing some teeth from eating rocks as a stray and had some apparent burn marks on his back that are healing. He seems happy with his new sister. We are hoping to adopt one more out of the same shelter.
