I have installed a new deck in my 2003 Tahoe. I clipped the factory harness to wire up my new deck. I have a solid voltage reading across my Constant Power (Orange 12v) and a solid reading to ground across my Ground. My issue is that I have no voltage drop across my Ignition line. The only switched power source I can find is the dark green line going to the AC controls. This works, however if I turn my air on the radio turns off.
For now I have hooked the system up so that the deck's switched power is a constant power from the factory amp. It works however I have to turn my CD player off every time I get out of the car, and I'm not sure the circuit is dead when the car is off at this point.
Is there another known wire to clip into or how can I create a circuit that is off when the car is off for my Accessory line?
Thank you all
