Dash swap

Hi, just joined forum today
I own a 1996 Yukon gt only drivers side airbag.looking to do a dash swap with a later model everything looks the same but one has cup holders other has air bag.looking for any info on connecting wire harness from one 1997 dash to a 1996 firewall or do I need to wire in passenger airbag.I believe airbag sensors on chassis are in the same locations. Any information would be appropriated thanks

I suspect that you'll just bring your wiring harness over to the new dash and either not hook up the passenger airbag or use a delete pocket.
