What do you have in the wast space under the stock central console? You have rectangular access holes on both sides of your console.

Those are access areas for the equipment and also where the aux fuse block I added is...

The console is completely removable with only disconnecting the main power wires (waiting on a quick disconnect for these), the large connector (upper right corner of the access, in the picture), and the two antenna wires too the radios. It is mounted to a stock center console frame and is removed the same way as one.

Another update, had some free time today and put together an arm rest, again all questions/comments encouraged. Still dusty too....

I like it. It definitely has allot of thought involved. I would paint it in bed lining paint to match the texture of the dash and hide imperfections. Cover the arm rest lid in some thin memory foam and vinyl.

Thank you sir, I plan on using speaker box fabric on just about the whole thing, as I have done on other consoles I've built. I also plan on bringing the arm rest to an upholsterer to have the top padded with some super soft leather on top of that... How does that sound?

I try not to do the speaker carpet on Consoles because every spec of dust crumb ect seems to stick like glue.

Although I would normally agree I have had good luck in the past in other vehicles with durability and longevity. I don't mind vacuuming it every once in a while... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
